Which facial should I book first?
The Serenity Facial ($125) or the HydraFacial Signature ($225) is a comfortable place to start.
I used to book “Enjoy Your Face.” Is it still offered?
Yes. It’s now called the Serenity Facial.
What is the Glass Skin Facial?
It combines dermaplaning, a chemical peel, and a CO2 mask in one visit of about an hour. It’s $300.
How much is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is $200 and takes about 60 minutes. You can add dermaplaning for $50.
What is a chemical peel?
A chemical solution is applied to the skin so the top layer exfoliates and peels. Light peels use mild acids to refresh mild discoloration and rough skin.
What’s the downtime after a light peel?
For a light peel:
- Healing takes 1–7 days
- Skin is red at first, then may flake for 3–7 days
- Makeup is usually fine right away or the next day
How many peels will I need?
For light peels, three to five may be needed, repeated every 2–5 weeks.
What’s the aftercare for a peel?
- Use lotion or cream until skin heals
- Wear sunscreen every day
- No tanning beds
- Avoid sun and smoking while you heal
Who should check first before a peel?
Tell your esthetician if you get cold sores or have a history of scarring or skin discoloration, since peels can reactivate cold sores or change skin color.
How much is dermaplaning, and what is it?
Dermaplaning is $100. It uses a small blade to gently remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair.
What does dermaplaning feel like?
You may feel a light scratching, but it usually isn’t painful. The hair removal is temporary.
Who should skip dermaplaning?
Check with your esthetician first if you have:
- Active acne
- Cold sores
- Eczema or psoriasis
- A rash or skin burn
