Hair Color and Balayage at Ardan

Here are our starting prices and times, plus the safety basics for anyone new to color.

How much does color cost at Ardan?

Starting prices:

• Single Process Color: from $105, about 30 minutes
• Partial highlight: from $190, about 45 minutes to 1 hour
• Full highlight: from $230, about 1 hour 15–30 minutes
• Partial balayage: from $205, about 1 hour 15 minutes
• Full balayage: price upon request; call us for a quote

Why do prices say “from”?

Most of our salon services have one set price, such as gloss ($50) and Olaplex or Fusion Treatment ($50). Color, highlights, balayage, keratin smoothing, and our Haircut & Blow Dry are listed with a starting price, because the time and price depend on the length of your hair. Full balayage is priced on request. We’ll confirm your exact price when you book.

Do I need a patch test?

There’s no need for a patch test days ahead. If you’re new to color with us and have known allergies, we do a quick patch test behind your ear or on your jawline the same day and wait about 5 minutes. Tell us about any allergies when you book.

What are the risks of hair dye?

Hair dye can cause skin irritation or an allergic reaction in some people. Hair dye should never be used on eyebrows or eyelashes, because it can injure the eyes.

What color brands do you use?

We use L’Oréal Professionnel colors, including INOA, and Calura. INOA is an ammonia-free, oil-based color.

Do I need a consultation for a big change or color correction?

Yes. Corrective color starts with a consultation so your stylist can plan it with you.

Do you do gloss?

Yes. A gloss is $50.

Do you offer Olaplex or Fusion treatments?

Yes. An Olaplex or Fusion treatment is $50.
