FAQs

Potenza RF Microneedling at Ardan

Potenza combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to support the skin’s own collagen. Here’s what it costs and what to expect.

How much does Potenza cost at Ardan?

Face and neck is $1,050, neck only is $650, and body treatments start at $800.

What is Potenza, and how does it work?

Ultrafine needles create tiny, controlled injuries while delivering RF energy into deeper layers of skin. This prompts the body to make new collagen and elastin over time.

What does it feel like?

Most people describe a warm, prickling feeling with some pressure. A numbing cream can be applied first.

How long is the appointment?

Face and neck is about 90 minutes at Ardan, and body treatments start at about 60 minutes.

Is there downtime?

You may have some redness or swelling for 1–2 days, like a mild sunburn. Makeup is typically fine the next day.

How many sessions will I need?

It varies; results can be seen in one to three sessions. Your plan is set at your consultation.

When will I see results?

Early changes in tone and texture can show within a few weeks, with more change typically between 3 and 6 months.

What are the side effects?

What to expect and what to know:

  • Redness and swelling for 1–2 days
  • Rare but serious complications have been reported with RF microneedling devices, including burns, scarring, fat loss, and nerve damage
  • Choose a licensed provider who is trained on the device

Is it safe for all skin tones?

RF microneedling is considered safe for all skin tones and types, with a low risk of dark spots when performed by a trained provider.

How is Potenza different from CIT/SkinPen?

Both use microneedling, but Potenza adds RF energy. At Ardan, CIT/SkinPen starts at $450 and takes about 45 minutes plus 30 minutes for numbing.
